The Western Hockey League and
NeuLion announce the debut of
WHL LIVE for the 2010-2011 season delivering online coverage of WHL games. WHL LIVE gives fans the greatest access to live and archive games, radio, live chat, video-on-demand and highlights. The modernized video console grants hockey fans an opportunity to tune into their favorite team with a simple Internet connection and watch the action anywhere at any time. New this year, WHL LIVE will feature an updated look and feel, including a game status indicator, and will offer integrated team level branding and HD support.
Powered by NeuLion technology, WHL LIVE provides coverage of all 22 teams in the WHL and will air nearly 800 games throughout the regular season which begins Friday, September 24, 2010. This exclusive service is the only way fans can watch live WHL games online, where the viewing experience expands the reach of the Western Hockey League, its teams and players to a global audience.
Individual WHL games are currently available for viewing for $6.95 CAD each per game or fans can purchase a variety of multi-game packages. The WHL and NeuLion have introduced new packages and pricing for the upcoming season in order to provide fans with more options and convenience. All prices in Canadian dollars:

- Archive Games $3.95
- Team Home and Away Pass $199.95 - A new package for all live and archive games, for one team, for the entire season.
- Team Away Pass $89.95 - Specifically for WHL in-arena Season Ticket Holders
- All Access Pass $299.95 - Provides live and archived games, for all 22 teams, all season long!
All 2011 WHL Playoff games and the race for the Ed Chynoweth Cup will also be available through WHL LIVE. Prices and packages will be announced later this season.
