Verimatrix announces an integrated NevoTV deployment at The Dominican Hotel in Brussels. Verimatrix Video Content Authority System for IPTV has been fully integrated with NevoTV, an IP-based solution that delivers voice, video, and data services through TV to the hospitality and real-estate management markets.

Nevotek, operating in all major markets around the globe, utilizes a super IPTV head-end architecture with a centralized management system. Nevotek has integrated VCAS for IPTV with the NevoTV platform to ensure rights to premium, early release window content attractive to the hospitality industry. Envivio is demonstrating a wide range of new solutions at CommunicAsia 2010 (Stand 3G1-01) June 15-18 in Singapore designed to create new business opportunities for providers who offer mobile TV, Internet TV, IPTV and terrestrial broadcast services. FetchTV has selected Envivio's Three Screens solution as the delivery platform for its subscription TV offering. The FetchTV service employs Envivio 4Caster-C4 video encoders, featuring Extreme-codec technology, to deliver visually stunning standard and high definition content over capacity restricted broadband networks without degradation. The 4Caster C4 allows FetchTV to create a high quality alternative to incumbent services that can be delivered by Australian ISPs over consumers' existing broadband connections. The systems have been deployed at two head-ends located in Melbourne and Sydney.

KIT digital has executed a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Benchmark Broadcast Systems based in Singapore. (All currency figures below are reported in U.S. dollars.)

BigBand Networks has expanded its set of IP video partners to advance convergence and open standards-based delivery. The company’s IP solution, which includes vIP Pass and CVEx Converged Video Exchange, has been integrated with a number of additional IP video products to provide an end-to-end IP video solution. The combined solution includes an IP media hub from Entone Inc., network-based program guides from Orca Interactive, digital TV security systems from Verimatrix and IPTV solutions from Western Mediabridge Inc. that will help streamline and secure IP video delivery across networks and consumer devices.

Cisco has joined the Zodiac Interactive Partner Program in support of cable operator tru2way deployments. As part of the Zodiac Partner Program, Cisco has licensed Zodiac’s PowerUp for tru2way and PowerUp Monitor Server application to test with select tru2way set-top boxes. PowerUp is a cross-platform software middleware and presentation engine solution that enables advanced iTV/ETV application deployments across multiple set-tops, including legacy boxes.
