Club iT, KT Start Games-on-Demand Trial

Club iT Corporation announced a successful commencement of G-cluster games-on-demand field trial deployment with KT Corporation, the leading telecommunications and networking company in Korea.

This previously announced joint field trial with KT and Club iT has commenced operation on November 25 in Seoul and the surrounding areas through KT's broadband network. The trial is scheduled to continue for a period of one month. KT and Club iT are working towards a formal agreement of adopting G-cluster games-on-demand as one of KT's value-added services.

Verizon is asking, "What's your game?" as it launches Verizon Game Services today. The online site at http://games.verizon.net is the place for on-demand, full-version computer and interactive games for all kinds of players. It's for anyone who loves to play games and has a broadband connection.

Verizon designed and customized packages for three types of game players: serious PC gamers who buy the latest games and want an online community experience with others like themselves; mainstream gamers, primarily adults, who play personal-computer games for recreation; and casual gamers, including parents, who buy card games, puzzles and educational games and want online safety and security for kids.

Club iT, Codemasters Bring Racing Games to G-cluster Gaming on Demand

Club iT Corporation and Codemasters Software Company Ltd announce their partnership to bring some of Codemasters' best known and commercially successful game franchises to the G-cluster Gaming on Demand platform.

The partnership will initially see the million-selling Codemasters titles TOCA Race Driver 2 and Colin McRae Rally 2005 made available to users worldwide using Club iT's innovative G-cluster technology.

The games, already published on PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox, will now be available on any broadband-connected device, including existing digital cable and IPTV set-top boxes, entry level PCs, and 3G mobile phones.

New Gaming on Demand Systems Turn Set Top Boxes Into Gaming Consoles

Gaming- on-Demand (GoD) technology vendor G-cluster, service provider Club iT, and Texas Instruments announced that IP-based set-top box manufacturers can now easily turn their products into genuine gaming consoles, using the G-cluster Gaming-on-Demand client to provide end users with access to hundreds of games over IPTV.

The set-top box will connect to G-cluster's grid of computer servers via a broadband connection, receiving game graphics and sound to display on a television screen in real time. USB-based gamepads or remote controls can be used by subscribers to play a wide variety of games.
