Everstream, a
Concurrent company and industry leader of software for data collection, warehousing, advertising, reporting, and business analytics for the cable and broadband industry, announced its deployment with
Blue Ridge Communications. The deal marks Everstream's continued expansion of its Hosted Services, enabling smaller operators to rapidly deploy enterprise data collection and warehousing, as well as audience measurement and iTV usage analytics and reporting.
"Everstream's Hosted Services offers regional operators a low-cost and quick-to-market approach to media reporting and analytics that enables not only better internal programming decisions, but also allows them to participate with their larger peers in the industry," stated Charlie Lougheed, Everstream's president. "We see this as another step towards better metrics for the entire industry, as well as the content providers with which it partners."
Everstream's Hosted Services provides a secure, turn-key approach for operators to measure service performance and subscriber experience. Customers may elect to use any combination of Everstream products to meet business or technical demands, without the costly investment in IT infrastructure and resources.
Of the Everstream Hosted Services suite of applications, Blue Ridge Communications is using Everstream's ReportOne(TM) for VOD for their analysis of video-on-demand consumption, revenue and asset usage.
"The addition of Everstream's reporting software will significantly enhance our ability to customize our on-demand programming to the unique tastes and preferences of our subscribers," said Mark Masenheimer, general manager for Blue Ridge Communications. "This data will play a key role in diversifying Blue Ridge's cable offerings from our competitors."
