Verimatrix will be demonstrating its support for DVB and over-the-top video services at CSTB 2011, Feb. 1-3, 2011 in Moscow with a speaking engagement and multiple demonstrations at its booth, #507 in Hall 3.
Alexandre Guitine, sales director for the region, will be presenting a session on "Marketing in Digital Multichannel Television Networks," on Wed., Feb. 2, 2011 at 14:10 in Conference Room 3 of the Crocus Expo. During his presentation, Guitine will focus on how operators can best enable an IP upgrade path. He will present how operators can protect content and revenue with layered security, as well as the benefits of leveraging a single security head-end to enable multiple network business opportunities.
In addition, the company will be hosting multiple demonstrations of its revenue security solutions, including:
- VCAS for DVB -- Digital TV operators can combine standards-based DVB technology for broadcast distribution with the interactivity of IP-based networks using a single robust security solution. In contrast to legacy approaches, Verimatrix offers multi-level client security that can be mixed in the same broadcast network to match the type of services offered. In particular, the company will be demonstrating a DVB-C hybrid implementation at the show.
- VCAS for Internet TV -- As a core component of VCAS 3, VCAS for Internet TV provides a complete digital TV security solution for OTT services over networks implementing the HTTP Live Streaming protocol. Featuring multi-format support, VCAS for Internet TV secures OTT services to multiple screens and across multiple transports, including both broadcast (linear) and video-on-demand delivery modes.
- ViewRight Web -- Also on display will be the latest ViewRight Web client technologies that authenticate any device, including the PC, iOS and Android devices, and set-top boxes, which support the HTTP Live Streaming protocol.
