announces that Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago is deploying Mariner's xVu IPTV service monitoring solution to support the expansion of services and the maintenance of service quality for its Blink Entertainment TV service.
The xVu service is used in conjunction with Advanced Digital Broadcasting TR-69 software and enables proactive customer support. This is done by providing complete visibility of customers' TV viewing experiences, effectively monitoring in real time the video and audio performance across the entire network, including in the home, and making that critical customer usage and service performance information readily available.
Launched in November 2009, Blink Entertainment offers more than 120 high definition and standard definition channels, including video on demand, Pay per View, and Digital Video Record features. The service represents a significant investment by TSTT to develop a differentiated TV service that can challenge Trinidad and Tobago's entrenched service providers. Blink Entertainment offers greater package flexibility, a more personalized viewing experience and crystal clear picture quality.
- Blink Entertainment is designed for greater customer flexibility, offering an extensive range of offerings designed to change the way TV is viewed.
- TSTT offers Blink Entertainment in more than 35 communities across Trinidad and Tobago, with additional communities planned.
- Blink Entertainment is delivered over a 100% Digital network ensuring crystal clear picture quality.
