IP Revolution
Realizing the formidable force of IP network technology benefits to the CCTV market, Roman Streltsov and Peter Pozdnyakov raised their tone when describing the Analog Market: "Analog surveillance system is losing its position as the pain of agony continues." During their speech, the directors of Navicom named few benefits of IP Video Surveillance System. The immediate advantage of IP system is the ease-of-installation that requires no drilling, expensive coaxial cable purchase and layout, and distance limitation. H.264 compression and megapixel camera have been able to provide extensive storage without compromising on the video surveillance quality and high resolution images for both live and recorded data respectively.
Eventually, the revolution of the IP system has been able to digitize the surveillance data in IP cameras, thus ease the operation burden of the DVR/NVR for more efficient use. Other features included the flexibility, extensibility, and stability as well as multiple users operation simultaneously.
Transition from Analog to IP
Although IP surveillance system offered many advantages, but analog system is still dominated in many countries. So, in response to this concern, AVerMedia INFORMATION also included a section analyzing the possible opportunities and what AVerMedia INFORMATION has to offer as a buffer. For instance, AVerDiGi EH5216H Series, a prime example of Embedded Hybrid, 16CH IP/Analog camera DVR, has helped many small to large businesses in adopting new IP technology while keeping the existing Analog. And AVerDiGi CM3000 Gold also provided extra integration reinforcement in total access control of DVRs/NVRs and instant alarm notification, to name a few.

Another comment from Andrew Wong of AVerMedia INFORMATION after the Seminar: "My job is to conduct trainings and seminars for our clients. Over the past three years I have held dozens of such kind of events. From my experience, an instant reaction from the participants is the main criterion for evaluating. Typically, this leads to further development of many partnerships. I appreciate this event very much!"
What’s next?
There were mainly two purposes of being the first hosting such seminar. First, it showed AVerMedia INFORMATION’s determination and focus to the Russia market. Last, it was a platform for promoting IP solutions in CCTV industry, experience sharing among distributors, and customers’ feedback to improve AVerDiGi DVRs/NVRs.
"As the result of this event, we have found few new CCTV partners" said Sergey Trapani. "I am sure it will cause a butterfly effects to other manufacturers, integrators and installation companies. After the summer holidays, we will continue to hold similar events like this in other cities of Russia. IP-video surveillance is no longer the trend of the market, but reality, and we want to be the pioneer of this opportunity."
