HomePNA Summit, set for September 30th - October 1st in Houston, Texas, will host leading broadband service providers from across the globe to outline how HomePNA technology is enabling profitable in-home broadband and entertainment networks. Representatives from AT&T, Telefonica, Digicable, TELUS, Tata Sky, YES, CenturyLink, and Bell Aliant are all scheduled to detail their experience with telecom's next frontier, the digital home. "We're bringing a truly global perspective from telcos, cablecos, and satellite service providers to the important issue of how broadband service providers can deliver new triple play and over-the-top services to enable a profitable in-home broadband experience for their customers," says Bernie Arnason of Pivot Media, a co-producer of the Summit.
Topics to be covered include: examining how HomePNA technology can enable critical home entertainment applications like whole-home DVR and distribution of HD IPTV content; how broadband service providers can leverage in-home broadband networks for competitive differentiation; and best practices for efficient IPTV installation and management, which can lead to significant OPEX savings. "We're committed to demonstrating the tremendous value of HomePNA technology and the competitive advantage it enables broadband service providers, large and small, all over the world," says William "Bill" Simmelink, president of the HomePNA Alliance.
The HomePNA Summit is co-located with the Fiber To The Home Conference and Expo, providing great return on conference investment for Summit attendees who are looking to reduce travel expenses.
