Alcatel's Michel Rahier, head of Alcatel's fixed communications division, stated Tuesday that, "I think there will be about 100 million subscribers to IPTV by 2010," at the Broadband World Forum in Paris.
Rahier went on to discuss delays that some service providers have experienced while rolling out their IPTV service. "Sometimes there is over-optimism in terms of maturity of the product," Rahier said.
