Triple Play Express, which is designed to bring to a comprehensive, pre-integrated voice, video and data solution to regional, local and independent service providers.
West Carolina Tel signals the market opportunity for TPE that exists in this market segment. To address this market, Alcatel-Lucent developed the TPE solution specifically to meet the unique needs of these operators.
The TPE Solution deployment will include the market leading micro-architecture of the Microsoft Mediaroom™ platform that Alcatel-Lucent recently announced. The TPE solution will also support Video-on-demand, HDTV, Remote DVR, an Operator Mosaic Channel, an applications Dashboard, and Enhanced CallerID that will be delivered as services to West Carolina customers.
Alcatel-Lucent's TPE solution is tailored to regionally-focused operators, utilities and municipalities in North America, all of whom want to generate incremental revenues and position themselves for future opportunities.
