The Canadian Football League and
NeuLion announce an agreement to provide a new mobile streaming service for leading wireless devices for the 2010 CFL season.
The first-ever official CFL mobile app, called
TELUS CFL Mobile, provides fans with an exciting new way to stay connected to the action on-the-go. Driven by TELUS, a leading Canadian telecommunications company, the app uses NeuLion's service to deliver live streaming content to CFL fans on the go.
The app and its core content including scores, schedules, stats and news headlines, are available to fans using any wireless provider on BlackBerry and Android smartphone devices and coming soon to other leading smartphones. TELUS subscribers also have access to the app's advanced features including; live streaming of all CFL games, including the playoffs and 98th Grey Cup, on-demand video, interviews and enhanced live stats updates during CFL games. NeuLion provides streaming service for all video available on TELUS CFL Mobile.
The new mobile service launched this summer.
