Pixelmetrix will demo its latest application for the Electronic Couch Potato, the Video Quality Index.
Video Quality Index is a video quality measurement tool that scans all channels, identifies common video impairments such as macro-blocking, tiling and freeze frame, then combines them to a single, integrated metric. Results are consolidated across all channels and remote sites – making it easy to identify when and where video quality issues strike.
Danny Wilson, President and CEO of Pixelmetrix said, “VQI is the latest addition to the long list of key features for the ECP. We are confident it will become a valuable tool for operators in this dynamic broadcast industry.”
A slew of solutions in the demo line-up also include ATSC Monitoring, Affordable Transport Stream Monitoring,Transport Stream Recording & Playout, IP Headend Monitoring as well as Satellite Monitoring.
Pixelmetrix develops a host of IPTV and Preventive Monitoring systems that offer unique attributes and versatility, allowing operators to achieve end-to-end visibility and keep tabs on their network architecture.
NAB 2011 will be held from April 11 to 14, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
