NeuLion announces that it streamed 400+ live college basketball events in the first half of March and that viewers spent an average of 31 minutes consuming this video and audio content. NeuLion's platform will also power broadcasts for the upcoming National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' Division I Men & Women's Basketball Championships, which begin on March 16.
College basketball live events powered by NeuLion include home-feed audio streams of top programs such as No. 1 NCAA Men's Basketball Tourney seeds Duke and Ohio State, video streams of many conference tournaments and hundreds of other basketball games. In March 2011, NeuLion is broadcasting more than 500 college basketball games from around the country.
In addition to NeuLion's technology powering the digital broadcasts of more than 500 college basketball games in March, NeuLion's platform also delivers live HD video streams. Both the University of Oregon and LSU are working with NeuLion to stream basketball and baseball in HD; Duke will stream select home contests of Blue Devils baseball in HD beginning March 15. Thus far in the 2010-11 college season, NeuLion has streamed more than 50 live games in HD.
