Pixelmetrix displays its IP Headend and Viewer Experience Monitoring Solutions at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, Booth 2101. Products on demo include the Electronic Couch PotatoT for Remote Viewer Quality Monitoring, DVStation-Mini² QAM for HFC Last Mile Monitoring and DVStation-IP³ for IP Headend Monitoring.
The ECP connects after the STB and provides feedback on various service quality parameters to a central site. It can emulate an end-user changing channels on a STB via a built-in infrared transmitter. Service plan verification, channel switching and multiple measurements on service quality for each channel reported to a central management console, give service providers valuable insight into the viewer experience and confirms the availability of subscribed-to channels.
The DVStation-IP³, a one-stop monitoring engine for IP and Transport Stream Analysis, allows for detailed service visualization and IP Headend Output verification for IPTV networks. Features include H.264 SD and HD video support, video thumbnails with all service attributes as well as freeze frame, blackout and audio loss detection.
The DVStation-Mini² QAM monitors EdgeQAM and SDV delivery networks for RF fidelity and TS integrity, provides service line-up checks based on NIT contents and consolidate alarms to an NMS, among other features, making it an ideal operational debugging tool. It can adapt to changing conditions in the operating environment with the NIT information and EIS-MuxConfig interface.
Pixelmetrix develops a host of IPTV and Preventive Monitoring systems that offer unique attributes and versatility, allowing operators to achieve end-to-end visibility and keep tabs on their network architecture.
The SCTE Cable-Tec Expo is held from October 20 to 22 at the Ernest N Morial Convention Center.
