CSI Digital (CSI) announced today the rollout of its Trident wholesale product suite for service customers. Set for delivery to customers September 1st, CSI Digital is the first company nationally to deliver all three digital services, voice, video and data, as an end-to-end solution for content providers.
CSI Digital distributes Trident to Multiple System Operators (MSOs) / cable companies, telecommunications operators (telcos) as well as Internet Service Providers looking to enter the IPTV or triple-play (voice, video and data) market. The company also supplies its products to retail providers in the multi-dwelling unit, hospitality, municipality, university and master planned community markets.
CSI Digital video customers realize significant cost savings and reduced capital expense (CAPX) as the video content is pre-shaped before transport, requiring as little as one tenth the traditional cost to deploy. Existing providers can conveniently acquire MPEG-2 content from CSI and transition from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 in an orderly manner.
