Comtrend's CT-703 Triple-play Hybrid IPTV Set-top Box has been awarded the Best Choice of 2006 Taipei Computex award. Computex Taipei is the largest IT show in Asia and the 2nd largest in the world.
Comtrend's CT-703 won the "Best Choice" award after being put up against over 400 competitors and judged under a number of criteria. General Manager of Comtrend, Sam Liu thanked his team for their "excellent performance in design innovation and the creation of customer value."
Comtrend's CT-703 integrates many multi-functional media services which include: IPTV, VoD, VoIP, Karaoke, CATV, DVB & Internet browser.
CT-703 supports High Definition video quality for most kinds of video streams, including: H.264, WMV9 and MPEG-1/2/4. Its advanced Karaoke functions such as: on-line song insertion, key transpose and echo control are unique from other suppliers. This IPTV Set-top Box also complies with the DLNA version 1.5 interoperability guidelines, so as to insure compatibility with other digital devices.
